We provide holistic and inclusive care to everybody. We are aware that equal access to healthcare is not available to all: someone’s characteristics, background or culture impact the type and quality of care they receive. To combat these issues in our society, our team receives training to provide care to all in a safe and caring environment.
Whether English is not your first language, whether you have a disability, whether you identify as LGBTQIA+, whether you are from an underrepresented religion or culture – you are welcome at Osteopathy Abingdon!
Who can benefit?

Osteopathy is a form of complementary and alternative medicine. Patients use osteopathy at the same time as receiving other medical care (this is the complementary approach) or on its own (the alternative approach). You do not need a referral from your GP to consult an osteopath but you are encouraged to keep your GP informed so that your medical records are current and complete.
Osteopathy is suitable for newborns, toddlers, children and adults, including pregnant women and the elderly. Doing the same activity frequently can lead to symptoms and patients often include dancers, musicians, factory workers, those who sit at a desk or in the same position for long periods and sports people.
Treatment is based on the patient’s age and body.
