Dr Jerry Draper-Rodi
Jerry leads our practice in Abingdon. He combines hands-on clinical work with significant research and academic roles, serving as the Director of the National Council for Osteopathic Research and Associate Professor at the Health Sciences University in London. This blend of clinical practice and research ensures his treatment approaches are informed by the latest evidence and best practices.
He completed his Doctorate in Osteopathy in 2016, focusing his research on low back pain. He has since become a leading voice in osteopathic research, publishing extensively in scientific journals and contributing to the development of the profession. His research and clinical interests include:
- Relief of musculoskeletal pain, including back pain, neck pain and joint pain
- Management of persistent (chronic) pain conditions
- Treatment of nerve-related pain, including sciatica
- Evidence-based approaches to patient care

His expertise has been recognized through multiple awards, including:
- The Research in Practice Award from the Institute of Osteopathy (2019 and 2016)
- The Secretaries Award from The Society for Back Pain Research (2016)
Jerry is actively involved in advancing osteopathic practice through research and education. He regularly presents at international conferences and reviews research for several academic journals, helping ensure that osteopathic care continues to develop and improve.

Patricia Sadler
Patricia practises in Abingdon on Wednesdays. She also runs a practice in Harwell. Patricia speaks French and English fluently.
She enjoys furthering her knowledge and skills by attending courses and conferences, as well as organising them, in her role as Treasurer of the Oxfordshire Osteopathic Network. She’s also a member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and the Institute of Osteopathy.
Patricia has professional liability insurance to practise.
Hannah Vassallo
Hannah is a registered osteopath working in Oxfordshire. She came to osteopathy from a childhood in athletics and a career as a professional dancer. When retiring from dance, she re-trained as an osteopath, putting years of being on the treatment couch into practice. She understands first-hand what it is like to be in pain and injured, having acquired many injuries along the way!
She treats a wide variety of people from all walks of life; mostly regular people with regular aches and pains! Hannah has also undertaken further training in paediatrics having treated babies less than a week old. Hannah is experienced in treating children and adults from sporting backgrounds, particularly rowing, athletics, tennis, dance and gymnastics.
She has been through many rehabilitation programs for different areas of her body! Combining her five-year osteopathy training and experience as a Body Control Pilates instructor, Hannah incorporates her extensive knowledge base, built over the last 20 years, into treatment plans, offering exercise and self-management advice to enhance treatment outcomes.
Hannah is a BAPAM registered practitioner (British Association for Performing Arts Medicine), a member of OPACA (Osteopathic Performing Arts Care Association), registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and holds professional liability insurance with the Institute of Osteopathy (iO).
Hannah is an award-winning osteopath having received the 2020 “Rising Star” award from the Institute of Osteopathy. She trained at the London School of Osteopathy gaining a Masters with distinction.
